Understanding Home Theater

Nothing Enhances the enjoyment of movies better than a good sound system. While a typical stereo system provides the sound in front of the listener from 2 speakers, a true home theater provides sound that envelopes the listeners from the front, side and behind. This is accomplished by a typical 5.1 surround format: Front left and right speakers providing the foreground information, Center Speaker providing the main dialogue and action in the screen and two surround speakers providing all of the background information either behind or beside the listeners.
